Hagop "Jack" Keledjian

Originally from the Soviet Union, Jack began his artistic training at the age of twelve when he entered the School of Painting for Young Artists in Soviet Armenia. He was later accepted at the Apramhamian Art Studio where he was schooled in traditional techniques for painting from life using conceptual and technical methods of Spanish, Russian, and French Impressionism. Known for his vibrant colors, his expressive and free brushwork, Jack's paintings are in numerous galleries on the east coast and in the collections of the Armenian Library and Museum of America.

Hagop has exhibited at the following galleries in Massachusetts: Francesca Anderson Fine Arts Gallery in Lexington, Summer House Gallery in Rockport, J. Todd Gallery in Wellesley, Cambridge Cultural Center, the Boston Hotel, Avenue Framers Gallery & Ani Arts, and Newman Gallery in Boston. One of his works is on permanent exhibition at the Armenian Library and Museum of America in Massachusetts. The merchants of Newbury Street have mounted a bronze plaque on the street wall to honor Hagop as a master painter. Other galleries include the Raphy Gallery in Rhode Island and several in St. Petersburg, Russia.
